  Visions and Myths
John Paul 2 once said the early parts of Genesis are a myth. I do not know whether this is a mistranslation or he meant that it was just the way of the early hebrews to see the beginnings of history. I can assure you especially those who are right thinking Catholics it is quite in line with revelations of God through dreams and visions of rigiven to the righteous children of God.
It is obvious therefore to those who think through the guidance of a prayerful life that someone, perhaps Moses, slept and during each of six nights he saw the creation of the world. When he did not dream on the seventh night as he slept, He considered God rested as the creation of Mankind was finished and life began.
  Limbo and Pugatory
I do not know nor have I read of any revelations to catholics visionaries on Limbo. I mean any visits to Abraham’s bosom. Mary has taken more than a few into Hell and Purgatory. Purgatory is part of the temporal church and will not last into eternity. Limbo was emptied of those who believed in God by Christ by His descent into Hades to lead all those souls into Heaven. That is He opened the gates of heaven and that was before the establishment of the Christian Church which renamed itself Catholic in 112 AD. You all know from a previous post that if we apply the Church's teachings on the responsibilty and the seriousness of our sins I believe that Limbo still exists for the Hebrews.

Purgatory will be emptied when God, by His upping the fiery purifying rite, when He sees fit. That is unless we as Catholics empty it first by prayer. This charitable act we can do as long as the earth and temporal time exists. To those who believe, try this prayer

“Almighty and Eternal God, beloved Father of our lives I offer you all the drops of Precious Blood , Your Son Jesus Christ shed from the Garden to His Grave, each drop in atonement for a poor soul in Purgatory. I offer them to You in His Name”.

Offer it daily and let us see if we can save all those poor forgotten souls as an act of charity. They are forgotten, many of them, as so many not believing in Purgatory do not pray for them.

Also I cannot understand the argument over where aborted foeti go. When we are conceived sometime within a moment too fast for us to comprehend, original sin, our inheritance from our father Adam covers our soul with a shadow separating us from God's family. This sin is neither mortal or venial but never the less needs to be removed. God is not vengeful to those who have neither the will or full consideration for the sin commited. These unborn children are therefore in Purgatory and will once purified or prayed for or a requiem mass is offered soon after the time of their death will join the Chrch triumphant in Heaven. The doltish ruminations of theological goats abiding will make no difference to God's will.

Some who read this will jump to eagerly dismiss this rambling by quoting Auguatine let me quote Fr William Most of the subject

St. Thomas knew that at least part of this view of Augustine
was an error. For in q. 5. a. 3, ad 4: "The infants [who die
without baptism] are separated from God perpetually, in regard to
the loss of glory, which they do not know, but not in regard to
participation in natural goods, which they do know....That which
they have through nature, they possess without pain." In contrast,
Augustine, as his theory really required, held for the
positive damnation of infants: 93. Even he admitted
much discomfort with his conclusion, in Epistle 166.6.126: "But when
we come to the punishment of little ones, believe me, I am caught
in great difficulty, nor can I find at all what I should answer."
Centuries later Pope Pius IX was to confirm the position of Thomas
in regard to the lack of pain. In (DS
2866): " His supreme goodness and clemency, by no means
allows anyone to be punished with eternal punishment who does not
have the guilt of voluntary fault."

  What with pride we deny
Revelations to Marie-Julie Jahenny, fully approved by the Catholic Church.

Marie heard a conversation between God and satan who said, “I will attack the Church. I will overthrow the Cross, I will decimate the people, I will deposit a great weakness of Faith in hearts. There will also be A GREAT DENIAL OF RELIGION. For a time I will be MASTER of all things, everything will be under MY CONTROL, even Your temple and all Your people."

Marie-Julie saw that "there will not remain any vestige of the Holy Sacrifice, no apparent trace of faith. CONFUSION will be everywhere..."

All Biblical quotes are from the Douai Rheims translation of the Clementine Vulgate.

Mankind is capable and should be able to see Spiritual Truths with the eyes of their soul. Nothing can be seen if the soul is covered by the hardened carapace of sin, a state described by St Theresa of Avila, in her book, “The Interior Castle”. St Teresa was allowed to see a soul in the state of grave sin and it sorely tried, devastated and frightened her. When sin overwhelms and blinds our souls the gift of understanding cannot be present and we neither see nor comprehend Spiritual Truths. We are one might say ‘on our own’ and make use of our feelings rather that the aid of the promised Paraclete who as Christ promised does help us to remember. The Scriptures and Rituals of the Church are all bound up in this gift. It allows us to fully comprehend and take part in the Spiritual Life of the Church. It is not surprising that so many, lacking grace, find the Most Sacrifice of the Mass, so boring. How then can we be rid of this hardened blackened shell that restricts so mortally our Life in the Mystical Body of Christ? The answer is simple if we do not wish to be in a dreadful spiritual fornication with the unholy one we must enter into a spiritual espousal with the Holy Spirit, starting with a solemn baptism and regular use of the sacrament of penance and reconciliation. There are no short cuts.
There are so many commandments given to us by God and His Word, yet so many Catholics in the today’s world will not acknowledge these are directions of God, leading us to salvation, spinning them to justify their way of life. These directives for a charitable life are spun by so many making their personal feelings a substitute of nice feelings for true charity. They are, no matter how one reads them, the standards by which the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is acceptable to Him who gave us His Sacrifice of Perfect Charity, which is what we are to offer. One of the meanings of ‘Word’ is one’s promise or assurance. Jesus, the Word of God, is God’s promise of ultimate salvation made flesh. God’s Word, which existed in the Old Law, can be found in the promises, the prophecies of the Old Testament. They are an instruction, “do this and I will be with you or continue to do this and I will scourge you”. Reading scriptures and thinking on the last phrase, we can see that to those who have been given much, more is to be expected. In other words if God warns us once, and we ignore Him each succeeding warning and punishment becomes harsher, in our eyes. God will of course, although he is infinite patience and jealousy will say, as He has, “I will break their hearts of stone” Prophecies were never take it or leave it but an assurance of punishment or plenty. We must therefore know since Jesus said, “I am He” and God said, “I am”, all of God’s word, all of His prophecies are eternal and present yesterday, today and tomorrow. Did not Christ say in Mark 13: 30. Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, until all these things be done. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away

We have, if we obey God’s Word, His assurance or promise we will earn salvation. God in His infinite intelligence can and does fulfill our rewards, this He does in many in different and unusual ways, whereas the devil, that monumental piece of filth, being a creation of sorts that entered into this world through mankind, can never instigate of himself any original action. He can only repeat himself. Therefore, we should easily recognize his filthy efforts to temp us to refuse salvation. God as Creator can instigate a new way each and every time He does any of His acts of glory. Why do I write this? I write to point out that God creates our answers to problems but His promises and Word are always the same and unchanging.

Let us take Isaiah chapter 1 verses 11 to 16
11 To what purpose do you offer me the multitude of your victims, saith the Lord? I am full, I desire not holocausts of rams, and fat of fatlings, and blood of calves, and lambs, and buck goats. 12 When you came to appear before me, who required these things at your hands that you should walk in my courts?
13 Offer sacrifice no more in vain: incense is an abomination to me. The new moons, and the sabbaths, and other festivals I will not abide, your assemblies are wicked. 14 My soul hateth your new moons, and your solemnities: they are become troublesome to me, I am weary of bearing them. 15 And when you stretch forth your hands, I will turn away my eyes from you: and when you multiply prayer, I will not hear: for your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash yourselves, be clean, take away the evil of your devices from my eyes: cease to do perversely

It is plain, from the above, the Hebrews had defamed the offerings necessary for them to be in communion with God and He did not see them or the gifts they placed before Him. God considered them to be unclean and whosoever comes into God’s presence must be perfectly pure for in the strictest sense His "eyes are too pure, to behold evil”. Habbakuk 1:13

Amos. 5: 21 I hate, and have rejected your festivities: and I will not receive the odor of your assemblies.
22. And if you offer me holocausts, and your gifts, I will not receive them: neither will I regard the vows of your fat beasts. 23. Take away from me the tumult of thy songs: and I will not hear the canticles of thy harp.
Malachi 1: 10 Who is there among you that will shut the doors, and will kindle the fire on my altar gratis? I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will not receive a gift of your hand

Again we read of the anger of God in our spiritual history and His refusal to receive anything from the Hebrews. He was disdainful of their music too. This we see by the words of two prophets, Amos and Malachi.

Christ who came to fulfill the law made it absolutely plain for the Apostles, Hebrews to the core, that He changed nothing and they as ‘Shalliachs’ (anointed assistants) to His Shalliach, Peter, and they could not change one iota of His instructions. This was always the custom of the plenipotentiaries sent by Potentates in the Old Law as did Abraham when looking for a wife for Isaac.

Matthew 5: 18. For, amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all be fulfilled. 19. He therefore that shall break one of these least commandments, and shall so teach men, shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. But he that shall do and teach, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20. For I tell you, that unless your justice abound more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The Pharisees changed the Old Law by nearly 900 instructions of their own making, they became as Christ said in Matthew 23;23 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you tithe mint, and anise, and cummin, and have left the weightier things of the law; judgment, and mercy, and faith. These things you ought to have done, and not to leave those undone. 24 Blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel.

What did David the Psalmist know when he said this?
Psalm 50: 9 Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.

David knew from the ageless promises of Yahweh and subsequent events that God would wash, would separate David from his sins, and give David, all David asked for in his prayers.

Psalm 50: 12 Create a clean heart in me, O God: and renew a right spirit within my bowels.
13 Cast me not away from thy face; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

David who recognized the desires of God, knew from Samuel of the regret of God for Saul, had then acted as demanded by Christ. He, David, repented, believing in the law. He became the David who prayed in Psalm 50:18 For if thou hadst desired sacrifice, I would indeed have given it: with burnt offerings thou wilt not be delighted. 19 A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit: a contrite and humbled heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. David was fully aware that we must truly repent.

We have been taught by scriptures themselves, the Sacrifice of the Old Law those gifts of finest wheat and purified oil, were fulfilled by Christ’s Flesh and Blood at the last supper. He is the perfect first born male demanded by the Scriptures for the sacrifice, and must be offered as the Old and the New Law demands by a humbled and contrite heart. The sacrifice offered must be pure and can obviously be only offered by the obedient or else it will be refused. Those who offer must be obedient to the Law that is we must be just in the Old Law and be righteous in the New.

The Mass, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is therefore only acceptable from the truly righteous and charitable. The sacrifice we offer is made in communion with Heaven and Acts of Charity are the only acts that exist in heaven, therefore for the Sacrifice to be licit it must include all of the Church, suffering, militant and triumphant. Without the complete bond of Charity, there is no sacrifice, except the individual personal one done in a state of grace Of coures we can see if we are so inclined that there is no parish, no ecclesiastical one either. When our body succumbs to the corruption of this world through the effects of sin then so dies faith and hope and only Charity will survive. Who are these whose sacrifice is acceptable to God? Those who by Christ’s two great commandments are truly Charitable, that is to be pure, free from sin and truly Charitable in God’s eyes. That is what is meant by Paul when he wrote in First Corinthians giving notice of the punishments that would accrue to unrepentant sinners. He paraphrased to the Hebrews and the Gentiles, the Old Testament punishments dealt by God to those who offered imperfect sacrifices.
27. Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.(Deicide) 28. But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. 29. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the Body of the Lord.
Paul would of course have known of Judas’s suicide, caused by his abandoning Jesus with his betraying kiss, an evil twist to an act of Love. God abandoned Judas to seek his own end. We should not commit the same spiritual suicide and dig the same grave for our souls in our pride and denial of God’s fair treatment for our sins. We should not be another Judas Iscariot. Our God of Providence having full knowledge of our human frailties gave us the way, a providential act, to be purified after Baptism when Jesus insufflating the Holy Spirit into the Apostles saying, “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven”, and then later telling them to pick a successor to Judas Iscariot.

Our God is the God of Providence and would not such a perfect providential God provide the means for us to be pure, to receive Him purely and free from sin. How is done and in what matter can we enter into heaven and Heaven in the form of Christ enter us. We know or at least some of us know that Christ said in Matthew 7: 21 Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven
22 Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name? 23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
Obviously these gifts of which Christ was aware, did not make one a saint nor holy. The use of these charismatic gifts are unnecessary for the salvation of one’s soul and we can obviously determine from Christ’s condemnation of them to see they could become a dreadful sin of pride boasting before God of their efficaciousness when many will, from the tone of Christ’s statement, seem to question His judgment.

And furthermore, Christ said in John 15: 9 As the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and (I) do abide in his love

There is a further restriction that is upon us to enter into Christ and for Him to live in His temple in us, that is for the Kingdom of heaven to be ours both by right of adoption, merit and humility.

Matthew 8: 8 And the centurion making answer, said: Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst enter under my roof: but only say the word, and I (my soul your servant) shall be healed.

You have read in the preceding sentences of Charity, and the claim made our charitable acts follow us as we pass from this life to the next. St. Paul tells us in 1st. Cor;8, “Charity never falleth away: whether prophecies shall be made void, or tongues shall cease, or knowledge shall be destroyed”.
That is if we are fortunate and have worked to make the weight of our Charity be more that the weight of our sins in Christ’s scales of justice. Paul writes of the bond of charity and the importance of our bonding together as Christ told us, “Love others as I have loved you”. St Paul again wrote in Ephesians 4;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Until we all meet into the unity of faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the age of the fulness of Christ; 14 That henceforth we be no more children tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the wickedness of men, by cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive. 15. But doing the truth in charity, we may in all things grow up in him who is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body, being compacted and fitly joined together, by what every joint supplieth, according to the operation in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body, unto the edifying of itself in charity.

Without this bond and the unity severed, the Sacrificial Life of a Catholic Community is dead and many actively work against it by gossip, envy and pride. Consider deeply, many say that God is complete in Himself. Very true but why then did he create us if He loves Himself perfectly? The only answer must be we were created to give Him a receptacle needed for His love. If we think about His Love for us, we are part of Him in his Image and Likeness, created by Him to give Him a spirit upon which to lavish His Love. If He does not love us this much, then why is His mercy so great? We are to Him a soul, that is, a burning flame, infinitesimal to an extreme, but never-the-less a small spark of His Love. We can be likened to the smoking flax, the flickering flame dampened severely by sin. First, it was overshadowed by our inheritance from Adam, then by our fallen nature leaving us the knowledge of God, through the inherited beatific vision now seen by us as Paul wrote ‘in a smoky mirror’, barely remembered in our minds. Without this bond of unity in grace, a unity dulled by sin, is our communal sacrifice, holy? Can we claim that it is still acceptable to God even if one link in the chain of Charity, this bond of unity, is severed? Are we then as Daniel wrote Ch.3;37 For we, O Lord, are diminished more than any nation, and are brought low in all the earth this day for our sins. Therefore it is obvious to those who continually repent of their nature in sin should pray as Daniel continues 38 Neither is there at this time prince, or leader, or prophet, or holocaust, or sacrifice, or oblation, or incense, or place of first fruits before thee, 39 That we may find thy mercy: nevertheless in a contrite heart and humble spirit let us be accepted. 40 As in holocausts of rams, and bullocks, and as in thousands of fat lambs: so let our sacrifice be made in thy sight this day, that it may please thee: for there is no confusion to them that trust in thee. 41 And now we follow thee with all our heart, and we fear thee, and seek thy face.
Let us hope in all hope that we have not been overtaken by the He Goat and the prophecy of Daniel 8:11 is not true. “And it was magnified even to the prince of the strength: and it (the He Goat) took away from him the continual sacrifice, and cast down the place of his sanctuary. 12 And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice, because of sins: and truth shall be cast down on the ground, and he shall do and shall prosper. 13 And I heard one of the saints speaking, and one saint said to another, I know not to whom that was speaking: How long shall be the vision, concerning the continual sacrifice, and the sin of the desolation that is made: and the sanctuary, and the strength be trodden under foot?
Have we or is it will we, therefore through sin fulfill the prophecy called the Abomination of Desolation? Daniel 11; 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall defile the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the continual sacrifice, and they shall place there the abomination unto desolation.

Going back to opening statement, we should see with the eyes of our soul spiritual truths we should ask therefore can we or should we see this desolating spiritual abomination? Of course not unless we are in a state of grace and have the Divine Intellect of God to help us. His intellect comprising of His Memory Understanding and Will shared with us through the works of the Holy Paraclete enables us to see the falseness of the once Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob of the Old Law severely censured those who worshipped the or fornicated with the serpent. There is no way we can claim this Jealous God will accept our false worship or sacrifices made as we are urged by our spiritual egos that lack the living grace that keeps us quickened. Any denial of these scriptural facts, part of the Church’s teachings, says Christ fulfilled only sinful urges. This is part of the dreadful acceptance of the teaching that abound on ‘unconditional love’ whereby we are convinced we are loved by God no matter what we do.

We cannot make the foolish claim we exist in Charity without charity that is against God’s teachings to Ezechiel Chapter 18 : 4, “All souls are mine …. And the soul that sins dies”
Limbo is beyond the reach of the Catholic Church and it was never intended to be for Catholics of the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church established by Christ as the legitimate successor of the Jewish religion. Limbo will exist for the Hebrews until God accepts their profession of faith in Jesus Christ. The ordinary Hebrew who practices his or her faith according to the Old Law, only to deny the existence of the Messiah through obedience to those who are by tradition and hypocrisy their teachers and leaders, will inherit Limbo. These unfortunates who without the will and full consideration to commit the dreadful sin of Messianic Denial, as seen by the God who knows all hearts, will at death go into Limbo. They will be released into Purgatory to be purged purified and glorified when their People return to the God of their fathers with remorse, repentance and atonement. God waits with pleasure for their prodigal homecoming.
