  The Fallibility of Vatican 2
I wonder if what I feel and think has any reality in the catholic world today. Popes write Vatican 2 is interpreted wrongly and yet the last three were all there. If they were why then are the meanings of vatican 2 so screwed up and mis directed? Why then are they forced as John Paul did to write a book on the Spirit of Vatican 2? Some hierarchs say much of the Council of Trent caused the same hiatus in the faithful. I would suggest some of the faithful then liked the reformed teachings so much they resisted having to go back to the doctrines and dogmas of the Church. The Church today if one honestly and genuinely examines it is very close to being reformed and lutheran and there are pockets that definitely are. What are the Hierarchs going to do. They will do as they have, they will posture and puff and do nothing.

Matthew Chapter
12:25 "And Jesus knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself shall be made desolate: and every city or house”.

It has been written that the language of the second Vatican council was ambiguous to an extreme and could be interpreted in whatever way the reader thought fit. This meant the council could be defended by orthodox believers or progressive liberals. These words alone should cause any Catholic who prayed and meditated on the Council to be careful. Did not Christ say, “Let your yes be yes and your no be no anything else is of the enemy.” In the light of this admonition of Christ’s to the Apostles, what can we think of the ambiguity in the Council’s promulgations? The body of the Church admits they were neither, yes or no. I will try to make this a simple essay, as this is the way I think. I am quite honestly, relatively uneducated by social standards, certainly unqualified compared to any Church Theologian, even when they, certain theologians, deny as some do today, there is no one in hell. I have only 11 years of attending school with no advanced degrees, institutional papers or certificates, this means I have not the sophistication to compete in the arena that Theology has become. A Let me also write I cannot put any spin on words and interpretation that others have, it would be a sin and false witness.

It is my wish to draw your attention to the Council Document on Divine Revelation, whereby the Church in her generations of Wisdom has always proclaimed that The Holy Spirit that inspired the Gospel also helps us (the Church) to explain it. That was always extrapolated that ‘Like’ (the Holy Spirit) recognized “Like’ (the Holy Spirit) in others. Is this I have asked myself why so much dissention has been caused by different groups who interpret the Council? Could one even make the claim that such divergent views are in no way an expression of unity in the Church. The Church used to teach pre-Vatican 2 that there is no indwelling of the Holy Spirit if sin is present. She teaches that God is omnipresent, that does not mean by any stretch of the imagination or interpretation of the new theologians in the Church, “He dwells in us”. It is imaginative to think so and is certainly not an intellectual thought. I believe, first and foremost, the Spirit of Vatican 2 is not holy, it is a lying spirit because the Spirit of renewal is contra the Divine Revelations in the Church’s teachings over her history. It is without a doubt the extinguishing of revelation in the Church. It is not in concert with the Spirit of Consistency as seen in the Taught Dogma of the New and Old Testament. That is the statement by God Himself, “I am, who am”. It is against the great Sacrament of Renewal, the sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation, which brings to our souls the only renewal possible after baptism and before what might be for some the final sacrament. This was taught by Christ, as His forgiveness of Sin.

I make a claim that the Bishops can be bamboozled and bamboozle themselves, by claiming any thought or claimed revelation in the Church is a renewal. Vatican 2 was a pastoral council with no authority to change the teachings of the Church as stated in the Homilies at the opening and closing masses, and repeated by every Pope since. Can we say or can we with eyes and minds open that dogma has not changed, An admitted honesty would give the lie to any denial.

God allowed Vatican 2, that is not in doubt. God has good reasons for all He does. Our God is the God of Providence. He is the Providential God who supplies our needs as David stated in the Psalm when he admitted, “The Lord is my shepherd”. The almighty and eternal God always finds new ways to warn us

of the disgusting state of our souls. Vatican 2 by any prayerful consideration of the state of the Church today was the start of the separation of the sheep from the goats. The beginning of the Endtimes which could be adverted by a review of Vatican 2 that is carried out with integrity.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Unity

Paul letter to the Ephesians Chapter 4

3 Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 One body and one Spirit; as you are called in one hope of your calling.

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism.

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all,

Today the Spirit of Vatican separates us. We have cults in the Church that have separated us, often disparaging the everyday laity with hints of unholiness. They see and claim their way as holier than the Church. Consider the following. There is the Neocatechumenate Movement with their own Liturgy and catechesis. We often see they put aside in a contra spiritual way catholic marriages and allow splitting up catholic families. Told to drop their personal Liturgy, they still persist in its imaginative performance.

The Charismatic renewal movement, a true renewal of the Mystery Religions, against whom, St Paul preached. The Focolare, 30% Buddhist, who some believe the founder is the re-incarnation of Mary, the Mother herself. We have the Latin Mass group, who claim Holiness? When I have attended the Tridentine Mass, I see, though they are crowded, yet fewer people practice confession than in the local parish church. The Laity prayed before Vatican 2 to have the sacrifice offered in the vernacular. Where do these traditionalists, which can be a heresy in itself, get their spiritual movement, so different and inconsistent with the faithful before them? Will they soon demand circumcision as a sign of Catholicism? Have they no concern for the Psalmist who taught us often, “A roaring holocaust you will not welcome but in a contrite penitential heart you find joy?

The question is, “Who wants, who works to separate the Church and would use Christ’s sacrifice to make it happen?”

The Spirit of Prophecy

In one Council document we read: "At all times the Church carries the responsibility of reading the signs of the times and interpreting them in the light of the Gospel." There was great delight in Gaudium et Spes, it was declared ‘a declaration of hope’ John Paul quoted it and said “Be not afraid”. Not so, this spirit of what may well be mistaken as the spirit of prophecy and yet how can it be? Almost as soon as it was published, the disobedient sixties hit us, charity was pushed aside, and ego’s reigned supreme. The selfish ‘me-too’ generation was spawned. It missed the Bishops and the world who would come to usurp the power of the Spirit of Creation. What kind of providential God is it who would miss this opportunity to warn us of our impending doom and of the great insult to His creative Powers? This spirit is contra creation and takes upon itself a right to alter creation, to decide life and death is mankind’s decision. Decide is only one letter away from deicide that is a great way of renewal. Paul VIth. wrote Humanae Vitae and the majority of the Bishops deny his right to promulgate doctrine and the catholic Bishop’s of Canada issued the Manitoba Manifesto, which was never rescinded. They separated themselves from the Pope and as I have read, one reason is he was pre-Vatican 2. Whatever that means escapes me. The dreadfulness of the spirit of Vatican 2 will be apparent to all who will pray before they criticize this piece and ask in the Name of Jesus to know the truth. Who can deny that the Bishops in all their prideful boasting of the “signs of the Times” missed the sixties unfolding before their eyes; missed the sexual revolution and the subversion of God’s creative powers? What kind of contra spirit dwelt in them? How could, one must ask if the Spirit of Vatican 2 was holy, it missed all of the above. Why no warning by our providential God of the new order of priests or I should say the disordered priesthood, bishops who have lost their memory and way, both spiritually and secularly, the devastation of the Sisterhood, the destruction and lack of use of the sacraments. Why did the Council in a way that supported the blasphemy of the Eucharist, warned of at Fatima, let a Lutheran theologian speak on the Eucharist. Why would a providential God, allow a Lutheran Theologian, who could never have known the Eucharist, in his spiritual life, discuss the Document on the Eucharist? Reassure me now if you can, of the Holy Spirit at Vatican 2.

The Spirit of Wisdom and Discipline.

Through the contra spirit of ecumenism, that is false evangelism, and an egotistical drive for accommodation put aside the Spirit of evangelization and the virtue of zeal, the Bishops at Vatican 2 have eased the laws of fasting and abstinence. They have allowed our Pearl to be fed to swine. They act explicitly against Christ’s commandment, “Make your yes a yes, your no a no, anything else is from the wicked one”. That is any and all accommodation, ambiguity and rationalization is specifically dismissed by Christ. This lack of discipline, this accommodation has taken us far beyond that disgusting tepidness for which the Scriptures tell us twice. “He will vomit them out of His mouth”. It has carried us into gross indifference. If tepidity makes God sick to His Stomach then what will this contra spirit of minimalism do for our souls? I can almost believe the Bishops by ignoring sin cancelled it out of our lives. We hear no more of sin and yet the Spirit of Wisdom in Chapter 1 tells us in frightening simplicity;

3 For perverse thoughts separate from God: and his power, when it is tried, reproveth the unwise:

4 For wisdom will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins.

5 For the Holy Spirit of discipline will flee from the deceitful, and will withdraw himself from thoughts that are without understanding, and he shall not abide when iniquity cometh in.

Can we see from the quotation the Lord does not share His temple with his enemy and that it is intellectual understanding not imaginative thoughts that the Holy Spirit brings or welcomes and leaves when we sin. Unfortunately the Second Vatican Council might just be what the Bishops imagined the Church to be. Full of fuzzy feelings of well being for their newly exalted power, and the whisperings of mad periti, who one can only see as a Romantic Chorus, (a choral group direct from “Periti autem by Felix Mendelssohn), the majority of the Bishops left their intellects in the closet. Romantic in the poetic sense of romancing.

Now to finish some will say, bishops will defend themselves and say not all were sinful at the Council. Not true once anyone voted against their conscience in the name of collegiate unity were immediately complicit in the most disgusting of Sin. They deserted Christ as did the Apostles in the Garden and denied his friendship as did Peter and even sold Him for peanuts, as did Judas. Cyprian of Carthage in His tracts on lapsed catholics and the Unity of the Church showed quite strongly that it has happened before. If the Hierarchy does not repent, does not apologize for History, does not show sorrow for their sixties egos then the Church might not succeed in Her mission. Then the end of the Age will be upon us. What Age you ask? The age in which we live, the Age of the Holy Spirit sent for us, as promised, to remember His teachings. Read again Wisdom Chapter 1 verses 3 to 5.

God urged Israel to use those he had endowed with a wise heart and a prudential spirit to make the vestments for Aaron demanding they should be according to his beauty. Look at the vestments in the Church today’s everyday use they are designed by those who are inarticulate and have no wisdom in their heart. We can say our new Churches and the vestments and altar furnishings used in them are designed by clods. The music and words we use, the adjusted psalms we sing are banal and lack the beauty and theology of the so-called retro hymns of yesterday. What kind of renewal is this?
