In former blogs, I have maintained the Church, due to various misinterpretations of the last 40 years, has become very unwise, or at least we find this state in the laity or the recently converted laity who demand and make the changes they want. Their opinions are often held by weak priests as gospel, according to whom, I ask? By this I mean, so many newly converted think they can bring many of their schisms and in some cases heresies with them. Aided and abetted by the Bishops of that first part of the forty years, many of the standards concerning teaching and spirituality (sanctity or holiness) in our Church have been lowered to meet with the so-called holy spirit speaking through these new lax church faithful, the new people on our block. Unfortunately, in Canada, Humanae Vitae, was dismissed by the Canadian Bishops in the presence of John Paul 2, called by many, "the Manitoba Manifesto". They would test the waters and if the laity accepted it, unless the laity approved the encyclical, they would not accept it as dogma. I maintain this was piffle, balderdash, cant, hypocrisy and trash. Thank God, the Canadian Bishops of this present time have put the error right.
I also say there is no wisdom in being a protestant or a lutheran and this is proven by their pseudo bibles. They dismiss the Book of Wisdom as unnecessary and not truly canonical, and then proceed to quote Paul who used it often as a defense for his beliefs. Now you can see there is no wisdom in being a reformer.
As for their holy spirit, we know from ours, the true Holy Spirit that is, these facts found in Wisdom Chapter one
1 Love justice, you that are the judges of the earth. Think of the Lord in goodness, and seek him in simplicity of heart.
2 For he is found by them that tempt him not: and he sheweth himself to them that have faith in him.
3 For perverse thoughts separate from God: and his power, when it is tried, reproveth the unwise:
4 For wisdom will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins.
5 For the Holy Spirit of discipline will flee from the deceitful, and will withdraw himself from thoughts that are without understanding, and he shall not abide when iniquity cometh in.
The Papal Catholic Church today in losing, during the last 40 years, the sense and knowledge of sin, and through the beliefs of the catholic pentecostals have completely lost sight of verses 4 & 5 and with a schismatic belief that I heard expressed by one deacon in his homily, think that once we are baptized Jesus is with us forever. Of course if there is no sin, this is true. Look therefore at the Chaplet of the Holy Spirit approved by the Church which in its second meditation cautions us to hold in the highest esteem the precious gift of sanctifying grace given at Baptism”. That is, interiorly washed by grace and by the outward sign that is water, sins are forgiven by this sacrament and that new state of "born again" free from sin makes us saints. Then it goes on to say, “I shall try to live without sin as becomes a child of God and a member of the true Church of God so that after this life I shall receive heaven as my inheritance”.
To anyone who will spend just a little time thinking this over it is obvious God does not share His temple with His enemy and there is no in-dwelling when a soul is malicious, even this will be so through a lack of knowledge.
