All Conversations in My Heart

Blogging my awful self, don't do as I do but please do as I say

How many times have each of us even given a small amount of time it consider thas we are all responsible for the soul of our neighbor? Has it ever bothered any of us that we stand back and allow as the psalmist wrote let satan take our souls and I add the souls of our brothers and sisters in Christ? I have often but I still get it wrong, my behavior that is. How often has our example been a bad one, causing the sin of scandal to be seen publicly and committed by us in our actions. Woe to those who scandalize! But even more so woe to those who through their intolerant behavior frighten a man just reborn to Good with their intransigence and with their hardness of heart, they/I drive a poor sinner away from the path on which he has set out. Those control freaks who set out to foist their opinions on their parish brothers and sisters in Christ. Never, never asking themselves am I doing the best I can for my brothers and sisters souls? Every man can somehow be a master or better still a teacher and a kind one to his neighbor and all the more so when his neighbor is weak and unaware of the wisdom of God. Just I ask make sure we all do good for those who need it.

Do not show hatred, grudge, spitefulness, contempt, or irony, towards sinners. Never remind them of their past, by unruly demands and bad examples. A man who has conquered his addictions or sins is refreshed by grace, after repenting, after being forgiven, after making a firm purpose of amendment, that is a sincere resolution to behave. for the Love of God. It is unfortunate that they and in no way excusing myself or ourselves from this behavior, sinners will always be tempted by their sinful memories. Therefore, it is necessary to help the poor sinner to get rid of them (bad habits) or as it was once known “bondage to sin”. We must do this discreetly without referring to their past. It would be imprudent both with regard to charity and to the sinner’s efforts, to remind repentant sinners of his faults is to dishearten him. His awakened conscience is sufficient to remind a man of his past. All else is to give rise to revivals of passions and, at times, a return to passions already overcome, to fresh consent to the reminded sin. In the best of cases it always implies leading into temptation.

Do not tempt and certainly never scandalize even sometimes bully your neighbor. Be prudent and charitable. If God has preserved us from certain sins, praise Him, do not be boastful of your justice and righteousness in order to humiliate whoever has not been just. Learn to understand the imploring look of a repentant man seeking pity who would like us to forget and who, in the event that he is aware that you have not forgotten, implores you at least not to mortify him "by reminding him of his past” by gossiping to his brothers and sisters in Christ. Do not be like those who consider themselves perfect, whilst they are not such because they lack charity towards their brothers and sisters. On the contrary, through love, surround our brothers who have risen again to grace, so that good companionship may help us all to prevent fresh failures, ours and other sinners.

We should not wish to be more demanding than God, Who does not reject the sinner who repents, so for the sake of our souls be like God who forgives the sinner and allows any sinner to re-enter the Church and to receive the companionship of the indwelling Trinity. We should forgive any unfortunate sinner and take much pity on them because they lack the grace, which every man can and should have, through our inheritance as adopted children of God, if he only wishes so. We can receive the grace the righteousness that follows repentance confession and absolution. So even forgive that sinner who caused you a damage, which can no longer be mended, do not be spiteful and seek revenge now that he is not a “bad companion” to be wary of. Love him because by grieving me or you he has given us the means to merit a greater reward in Heaven. Join your means to his forgiveness, and your prize will grow even more in Heaven. Therefore, I ask do not despise anybody, not even if they belong to another race, another sect or cult, or any pagan or sinner. You can see that when God attracts a spirit, even the spirit of a heathen, He transforms it in such a way that it exceeds many of the chosen people in justice.

I pray that you do not scorn my efforts as I write not just to correct you but to remind you with all my sparse knowledge, I am afraid I sin more than most and in the ways I have just written.
