Sometimes I have a great deal of problems with my religion and with the following of whom I can only think as those who just maybe pious frauds. This I would admit does not make them sinful unless of course they know themselves. Some of them I feel are good and sincere according to their beliefs and probably sin without any comprehension of the mistakes they make. Sin is still a sin to God and is as the jews believed a fornication with the serpent. Wrong dogma is heresy or schism depending on how you view the subject concerned and sin must be made amends for or in the pre-vatican 2 teachings of the Church, we have to know that the perfection of God needs satisfaction.
Here is the point of my blog. Carrying on in the same vein praying before the Cross. Some one near and dear to me did as I proposed, she asked before the Cross in the name of Jesus for what has caused God to reject her and how had she offended Him? She knew very quickly that even though she loved others, as He had asked she had to be less critical before loving as much as she did love others. I can guarantee if this question is posed in the Name of Jesus it will be answered. This is not my promise. read scriptures.
Which brings me to my secondary view. I was present two sundays ago at a catholic church. While waiting for the wife to finish her woman's league meeting, a man turned up looking for a hand out. I know he has been before with a different story about a daughter in hospital. The parishioners were what they considered prudent and sent him packing. I gave him some money not a lot. Consider it this way Christ did not need to beg did He? I wish I could have been around to give Him what He asked for. Consider that phrase again and ask yourself, "Do we give Him, who died on the Cross for us, what He asks for?" As far as I can observe in the Church today we do not, many of us that is, enter the confessional to receive what He longs to give us. Many of us never even consider it polite to thank Him for what He did, so long ago. Have we forgotten? Am I wrong?
