Knowledge; Intellect and Grace
It is often very amazing how educated people in the world today claim a superiority of intellect that is not so. They have, what are in some cases private revelations , that is opinions of their own, not based upon a conscience informed by the Church's teachings. As a Scottish granny would say, "All that knowledge and not a whit of intelligence to use it.Many claim to have God's ear and act and pray accordingly. They see themselves as (for this world) a franchise on heaven's opinions on anything to which they apply their knowledge. Dreadful beasts are mankind without grace. Tepidity and rationalization are their character traits.A faithful Catholic through the practice of the Sacraments, Prayer and Self Denial becomes a true mystic. After all, his or her lifestyle is full of the mysteries of God and the Trinity, found in the practices and rites of the Catholic Church. What else then can they expect? Certainly they will be rewarded by God for their honest effort in obedience, true obedience that is. To be full of the Grace that Sanctifies is to be part of the Divine Intellect. More or less of this intellect is ready to assist those who follow Christ's life mystically found in the Catholic Church through the Gifts left in her by Christ. Denial of any of Christ's precepts commands or ordinances is a grave error and leads to a separation from the Divine Life of Christ. Then I suggest we have lost the help of Divine Intelligence that then will only seek our repentance and return. One must if one has any integrity, or honesty in one's lifestyle must work out for themselves, what did Christ tell us to do and how did He show us to live. Nothing can be admitted although opinionated thinkers spin His glorious directions, especially, "If you love Me you will keep My Commandments"There you go folks what did he instruct us to do and how did he instruct us to live and what is more did He demonstrate publicly without a song and dance that He had the power to do so?Answer that last question for yourselves and for the sake of a life of everlasting bliss. Will you or will you spin and rationalize your answers?
