  Was it useful
Just finished reading some of the Pew reports on the status of the Catholic Population in the USA.
Is some one lying to us, or do we have a Hierarchy that hides its head in the sand like ostriches and shows its nether end to the world at large, while spinning for all its worth.
The numbers are falling and are spun to look successful due to the immigration of Hispanics illegal and otherwise entering the US.
I can now understand why the Bishops are calling for more immigration. They need the numbers to hide the falseness of their interpretations. Is this some weird hope it will all come right, is it? In Catholic countries such as Mexico, Catholicism is loosing out to the Evangelicals, just as it is in Columbia and Guatemala. Mexico has gone from 90%+ to the very low 80%. These people come to the USA and are joining the evangelists in high numbers. Look at other statistics only 40% of catholics do not believe in Abortion. We know and must admit the rest are fallen. Bishops you are loosing the battle and you cannot face this fact. You will no win with your present actions. If you would only say, only admit 60% of the church is in a state of sin, that is heresy or schism, that would be the truth and we have a basis from where to start the healing.
You have relaxed and are relaxing the rules and it is making no difference. What then I ask, was the reason or the use of Vatican 2. It sure opened up the Church as you Bishops wanted. You believed it would convert the masses 'unformed' into Catholicism. It did and we cannot hang on to them. Why I ask is this, is the truth of Catholicism being taught? This is happening no matter what spin you put on numbers. When any member of an organization in the secular world does not support or follow its rules they are rather unceremoniously barred, thrown out or their membership is cancelled. Are we so wrapped up in your navel gazing, you do not comprehend what you have done to the Magnificent Body of Christ?

You relaxed the rules in the sixties and certainly it was not prophetic, the number of fallen and lost catholics rose and you had to change the rules again unofficially, spinning your former actions to justify with false words your present actions. The reality is you ignored the, the rules, and connived with sinners and their private revelations to make the Mass entertaining. Soon you will claim, and you must admit it will be so, to keep your numbers up it is OK to receive communion lacking grace. Soon your social justice program will claim no one should be poor, leading to the statement and it is close, "if children are too expensive don't have them or get rid of them as soon as possible. God wants no one to suffer". A priest in seattle once wrote and published in the Diocesan Rag. "The Memorare is no longer nessesary it is a prayer no longer relevant. No one in our country needs anything". Read your own reports and know you are backing yourselves against a wall and will have to say yes to please the secular world to keep up your numbers. False Hope is triumphant over True faith.

I keep hearing the Holy Spirit will save the Church. He can't because it will be doing violence to our free will. Either we want the Church or we want what makes us feel good. We are the ones who can keep the Church practicing. Only we the faithful can save the teachings of the Church for our children. I will say watching, reading and listening to your lack of fortitude, you do not stand a chance. It is us who practice the faith and the sooner we revisit Vatican 2 and destroy once and for all, destroy the Sixties priests and thoughts. Then the sooner we can return to the faith as it was taught, the better.

I for one, with a foot on both sides of the dividing line of the Council, can see the age of the Holy Spirit is fading. How can you say different when no one that is, when only 40% of the Church believes?
Prove me wrong. I see so many priests, good men who are badly formed in seminaries run by sixties thought, limited by a heretical vow of obedience, standing at the altar giving homilies. Like Pilate, they ask, as they wring their hands, "What is truth?"
We are approaching the meat of the Passion as we near the end of the Age of the Holy Spirit,. we will be parading, carrying our cross for all to see, suffering three insults, those of spiritual excrescence thrown at us, of sarcastic laughter and questioned vocally by the crowd, celebrating our demise, "Who they will question, will we ask to save us?
