All Conversations in My Heart
The Money Changers
I had a dream the other night following the view of the magnificent flame white hot and fairly clear. In it was a shadowy face of Christ crowned with thorns. Then I saw a large table with Bishops sat around it, piles of money an the surface and then Christ reaching out with one hand to grasp the edge at the same time pulling a halter of a donkey.
Now of course many of the priesthood start screaming private revelations and denying them. Believing in this statement, we are stupid if we do not see what a prophet is. I can state firmly oh yes the priests know what a prophet is. No wonder they deny many revelations out of hand. They do so because the prophets of God come with one thing to say. To say as Christ did, "You are sinners". This is only a short step from illuminating the darkness of the mind of the Church. Look at the actions, disobedient actions of the Bishops to the Jesus who said, "If you love Me, you will keep My Commandments" Do they?

defence will not help
The Pope made a terrible mistake and it does not help to keep defending him. There were steps he should have made ages ago. The first one is, he should have closed down Observatore Romano ages ago. Consistently they have found a thousand ways to make him look inept. He should not be granting interviews to the press in the climate that exists in the grasping for both power and money in the secular world. Benedict knows full well what these editors use to sell papers and TV time. I find the hubris of the hierarchy full of macabre humor. These and they are foolish pout and say canon law says this and canon law says that and I say outside of a faithful majority, and we all know the prevalent climate says, "Who cares? and the catholic authorities still posture as though they have every authority to change the unfaithful laity. How can they think that we should obey them when they are so much in error. They, the bishops, should avoid any discussions with the press. Many of these Bishops and priests hold to the maxim, "We should go along to get along" To comment the way many do are bringing wrongly formed people into the church and then compounding their mistake by dreadful catechesis through the RCIA or the awful teachers of the Congregations of Faith.
Their problem started at Vatican 2 when they ostensibly gave the authority to change dogma's by inviting the laity to join them. There were no substantive rules promulgated that regulated the whys and wherefores. The liberals rejoiced. If you want to start a movement in the Church call it a renewal of some kind and you are home free and the black beetles in chancery offices run around directionless when challenged by the liberals; but use their position they so abuse to silence the faithful. Am I wrong then look at the Manitoba Manifesto where Canadian Bishops told the Pope we will take Humanae Vitae to the Laity and if they accept it then so shall we. This was and is their version and spirit of Vatican 2 . A spirit ever present in their minds and not much will change them. Not even a revisit to Vatican 2 through a new Council. They still hold the Authority by canon Law which they ignore when it suits them (most of the time).
There is no way Benedict should be discussing any dogma with the press. Our dogmas are set in the cement that is the foundation of the Church. There can be no discussion and even in the Name of Evangelization we should state our case and let those who oppose us go away and think it out for themselves. I find it amusing we discuss our religion with so many of the sects that knock at our door since most of us are so poorly catechized. One Jehovah said it was like shooting sitting ducks.
What the Pope said is immaterial what the press wrote he said is believed by millions and by a great majority of catholics as it suits their lifestyle and sex life. What the Pope said seems to be if you are not catholic you should consider the harm you might do without condoms.
Work out for yourself. Should he have this conversation with anyone in the press.Could it be another chink in our armor the purveyors of the new social justice in the Church are selling. A one way ticket to hell?

How awfully silly?
I cannot understand why, that is thinking from the point of view "I am He", why anyone in the Church especially those who supposed to be intelligent and faithful believers, keep revisiting birth control of any kind. I completely fail to understand why the questions of the secular press and I add most of the so called catholic press, have any validity when it comes to taught dogma and doctrine. Even the Pope should answer read Humanae Vitae. Why keep revisiting at the urging of those who are determined either through ambition or obstinate wrong hardheadedness to get permission to sin. There are no nuances of belief. Christ said plainly, "A yes is a yes and a no is a no, anything else is from the wicked one". That also applies to those who question the Teachings of the Church looking for an "in" to boast of their egos and to make their egos profitable and rewarded by material riches. The Holy Father Benedict should not be still thinking the matter over, it is not to the benefit of our souls. The Church throughout history has spoken and cannot be changed . This is the primal heresy arising from the Spirit of Vatican 2.
If we had faith and the prelates whose ego is so large they think they can handle the world's press and time and time again they make the Church a second best and if you cant be honest about our Church's teachings just shut up and let as Fulton Sheen said, "Let the (Faithful) Laity save the Church. Let's face it it was the Layman Francis of Assisi who did it in the middle ages.
If there is any real faith in the Church, She can say join Me, get baptized, go to confession and even HIV or Aids can be cured as and when your sins are forgiven and you do not commit them again. Pride in the world's efforts have never cured anything.
