A Smoky Council
The Holy Father, Paul VIth. wrote, "The smoke of Satan has entered the Church". Why was it given such a golden opportunity to do so? Surely if the Holy Ghost the Divine Eternal Spirit Of God, that is His supernatural love and sanctifying grace had been truly in the minds and hearts of all present, he would have been voted out by the votes of the Bishops at that sorry council. Personally, this council is so very ably demonstrated by the lack of true pastoral ability in many of today's bishops. Whether any of you like what I have written or you are part of the sorry crowd that attended the council who say it was never meant to be interpreted thus, I write it matters not because it has been twisted to suit the Adversary and not the Will of God. If it ever was His will???
Catholics taught before the council know truly that God will not, nor cannot share His Temple with His enemies, whether 'tis the temple we worship in or the interior chamber of our souls, we know if we have sin present in our souls He is not there. Mortal Sin as the catechism I was brought up on says Mortal sin kills the soul and drives out grace. In fact any study of the Church's rubrics will reveal in the attaining of Plenary Indulgences we have to go to confession within two octaves, one before and one after. This instruction which no one in the Church can deny, no matter where or how important his or her ego demands of us makes no bones about the matter, it says succinctly that we, the great majority of us, rarely last two weeks without a major attack and then victory by the evil one. We sin gravely and we have no eternal life. Has human nature changed for the better or has the Church or the laity willingly accepted the heresy once we receive Jesus and converted we are saved for all eternity. It is just as Luther taught.
Do any of us really consider what Christ did, He died for the forgiveness of sin to that time all sin that is and through His obedience to His Father's wish, He then received the Power to forgive sin. He passed this power, as scriptures tell us, to the Apostles.
Now we must as Catholics and members of His Church, founded upon the priesthood of the Apostles, must truly consider if the Rite of Baptism and Confession which he died to provide as Sacraments for our forgiveness, is the only way during our normal daily lives for us to receive forgiveness and absolution. It seems to me that so many Catholics say with their actions you did not need to die, You forgive our sins anyway out of love, as You died for Love of us. This is in reality a total lack of logic on our parts. I know that the rules change when we are in a state of emergency, or as I was taught, there we are tied to the train tracks and the express is less that a moment away, or a bomb is fifty feet away and rapidly approaching, only then a sincere act of contrition , will suffice. Do not tell me that the God of our salvation who watches most of us with a sorrowful love will forgive us without any active work on our part. Did He not tell those whom He healed in Scriptures no matter who, "Go tell the Priest and be purified".?
To those who do not want to know of the truth in this blog, who remain obstinately defiant, who do not want to consider of what may be the rights or wrongs of the thoughts contained herein, I ask you this question. Do you have life insurance in this world and consider how great is your providence? Then why do you treat Divine Providence less than life in this world? There is something wrong in your thinking or are so blind you cannot see or so deaf you cannot hear the voice of your conscience. Of course you may find it easier to crush your conscience than go to confession. It would seem so.
