Think as Faithful for a change
Just to help you in your journey through this blog, would you consider praying this very ancient prayer of the Church. It was always used in The English Catholic Church before V2 as the beginning of all actions in the Church, for example before Benediction, Holy Hour, which was always a congregational action, and of course reading scriptures, lives of saints, theological readings and any journey through a spiritual voyage.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit O Lord and we shall be recreated. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of your faithful people, grant that by the self same Holy Spirit we may become truly wise and revel in the joys of His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen”.

In the previous two blogs, I described the event whereby I was urged to dig a well in Mission BC. Some of you may have believed, some of you will have wanted me to go back to the “happy farm” and not to forget to take my medicine. Nevertheless it is not so much as me being very privileged but believing in the mystical life of prayer and attaining to the level of Divine Contemplation or prayer of union which is the grace that results from assiduously sticking to a prayer life that the Church never mentions any more and has therefore ceased teaching. The children are rudderless, why? Having attended the RCIA it seems that many of the teachers should never teach the catechism. Some unfortunately, who should know but do not, find it easier to label mysticism that Catholics should reach as foolishness or madness. I am what I am and I will try to suffer foolishness gladly. Catholics should be mystics by prayer and the correct use of the Sacramental Life we have in the Church. We should be mystical through the Rites and Liturgies of the Church. Once a week, to mass, does not cut it and once a year confession and communion is a joke if we really wish to love God. Denial of sinfulness and a longing for general absolution by so many in the priesthood is a short cut to the hot plate for us all. This way of practising our religion and faith is both tepid and meaningless and I would not want to stand before God with His truthful accusations of my minimalism, obscurantism and tepidness knowing He is about to He vomit all over me. This was His promise and never in His History has He broken one promise or lied to us.

So let me cover two other events. I have many and knowing what they mean to me through prayer and thought after they were experienced, I find contrary to the teaching on private revelations, that they are more for all of us than for me. Perhaps you might like to accept them rather than judge them with the liberal obscurantism and rationalization prevalent in the majority of the members of the Church today.

One time late in the evening, Blessed Mary came as I seemed to fall asleep, I can find no other way to describe the state that occupied me. Her words were quite significant and my views of what Mary meant will draw screams of irritation from prelates and priests, not leaving out the holy Joes and Josephines that Blessed Mary calls tiresome and wearying. It can't be me you all say. No I am critical of the behaviour I see in your lack of the virtues of religion and piety. Christ was right when he saw piles of whited bones in prideful sepulchres. I see from the same Scriptures Christ maintained, “you take on proselytes and you instruct them, making them worse than yourselves.”

This Blessed Woman, in the time of one conversation, who is sister, mother daughter and spouse said, “Jesus, My Son and I want the Church to go back to where we left her”. How did they leave her? First Christ entrusted Her to the Paraclete, the Most Holy Spirit of Supernatural Love and Sanctifying Grace. He was the fulfilment of the Old Law, not one jot or tittle was changed. Is that true? Perhaps you all might want to give me a little leeway here for I have always believed that the different sacrifices of the Old Law were combined in Him. Read in Deuteronomy and Numbers of the reasons for the Hebrews to offer the sacrifices. Christ combined the reasons for them and joined them all in Him as one sacrifice, our Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Returning to Blessed Mary's words. What period in time is appropriate and why return to an earlier period in time. Obviously, somehow the great “I AM” of God in the Old Testament and the “I AM HE” of Jesus in the Garden has been changed by others. I mean others than The Trinity. Blessed Mary, my love, looks very tired and just after that previous conversation Blessed Mary did say, “I am weary, Michael”. I do remember another time when in the course of a conversation, the Blessed Mother said,”He is tiresome”. Another time the Mother of God called a woman in the local parish a Jezebel after telling me why this woman's behaviour was unacceptable. Of course many will say no way. I ask why not look around you and think more than superficially about the lack of catechesis and belief in the teachings of Christ. Ask yourself, truly ask yourself how many really want to know what are the truths taught in the Church and are they the same today as yesterday? How many believe in Humanae Vitae? How many join the Life line demonstration one Sunday a year. Now tell me I have it wrong. Why do I call the Mother of God, Mary my love. Simple to answer, I had this immovable, uncorrectable urge to call her thus. I prayed for her forgiveness at such rudeness because it frightened me. “You will be more frightened if you do not”. What, I ask, would you do if you were given the same opportunity and same warning? Once again I urge you, print this or forward it to anyone but do try your parish priest or your Bishop and ask if they think there is any truth in what you have just read. Whatever they say, ask what is missing from these accounts and why do they think Blessed Mary does this to me???

By the way, look how silly I am, I sign my name. It would be dreadful for someone else to be blamed for the sentiments written above. Also no one has asked me why the well in Mission, still has no water. I do know one or two who would not like the reason. Again before I go, what is “tepid? Why is God disgusted with such a lack of faith? Surely if we love Him, like children we would want Him to know how much we want to please Him. Look at children how quick they jusmp to defend their parent(s). Willo you all go into your state of denial when I tell you from the words of the scripture He and His Mother are sick and tired by our malice. Again the spiteful way in which we as children treat Them?
