  Grace ,Ensoulment and Fatima
These last few weeks or so I have spent time re-reading my library on Fatima. I concentrated on the earlier books. These earlier versions I prefer as they are closer to the visions of the three children of Fatima, and they are more trustworthy than the majority of the later authors and recent translations. There again I wonder how many of the earlier translators took great care in their attempts to change the heavenly directions from Portuguese into English? Many of the latest translations are more personal beliefs and or opinions. It seems, they might just be considered in the same genre as private revelations. Reading the later attempts one can see errors that blossomed in earlier books have blossomed enormously in later books. I saw what I could believe as inaccuracies in the translations, even mistakes in uses that perhaps came from the minds of little children not practiced in the faith, and are of no great consequence. They after all were little children who had not reached the age of reason. I make the claim they, modern translators, misuse Christ's scriptural words. Are these modernists, whistle blowers of a different nature than faithful Catholics? Eager to attack and readily calling the Papacy dishonest, let me be charitable, hinting even the Pope has not the power to release what He feels fit and does not scandalise the faithful even causing despair. Let me give an explanation, on one point, Blessed Mary, Queen and Mother of Fatima would never misquote or alter her Son's words. He is always the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, this must and I know you will agree, apply to His prophetic teachings. Christ was apt to tell us what the future held for those who trusted in Him. Unless some scriptural translations are mistranslated, my statement has some accuracy and often the Bible has been translated to prove the points of various founders of heretical cults. Does not the most awful one, the “Faith Alone” debacle jump into your minds. Mankind has made of Christ a smoke and mirror, a smoky miasma, a chimera of what He was, to make Him what we want Him to be. This attitude results from our different egotistical wants, both inside an outside, the true Apostolic Church of Christ. We convince ourselves it is the Spirit moving inside us, not so in most cases. How can we guarantee the Holy Spirit is a great part of our interior life, without the Sacrament of Penance and the satisfaction it gives to God for our malicious behavior? Even the Church says we cannot be sure of our state of grace. We cannot be sure of God's condescension. I agree with you the spirit is there. Is it Holy and where is humility? Truly what spirit is it?
My example for you to consider is, John chapter 6:43; “Jesus therefore answered, and said to them: Murmur not among yourselves. [44] No man can come to me, except the Father, who hath sent me, draw him; and I will raise him up in the last day”.
I and any catholic or Catholic has to believe our prayers must be in some way be theologically, related to Christ. Here is my point. The Catholic Church has always maintained, rather weekly these latter years, that the Bible inspired by the Holy Ghost can only be correctly understood by those who are in a state of the grace that sanctifies. This grace is called the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. That is those in a state of sanctifying grace will be reminded of His ways by the Holy Spirit found in this case, in the scriptures. The Gift of the Paraclete to the Apostles and handed down by them and infused into those who are anointed by a solemn baptism into His Church by a sacramental and sacrificial priest. Therefore I must believe that Blessed Mary would never change His words. The Blessed Woman is the full of grace. We must use the words of the Church with great trust, since we should not dare to change His Teachings and make Him out to be a liar. Any error in translation or interpretation is, most sinful, even if it is inadvertent or otherwise. To change His words out of a sinful pride in our own intellects is dreadful, as indeed will be judgement of God on those who think their will is the will of God, reversing the natural spiritual order.
In the Blue Army publication, The Flower of Fatima, the second prayer of the Archangel Michael, and repeated three times in the course of the publication, “O my Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and draw all souls to heaven”. It uses a different word each time. First time it is written, “draw”, the second uses, “call” and the third, “lead”. Which do you think it should be when the basis of its premise is a quote from John 6:44. As Catholics we have been called once. Do we tell Him He has to do it again? The question we should ask ourselves is, was He wrong, in any way, the first time and should we search for two new ways for salvation? The leading is done once when He suffered and died, descended into Hell to lead the Blessed from Limbo into the presence of His Father. I ask must He suffer and die a second time for us as He did it wrong the first time? Of course our ego seems to demand this from Him.
Then again it is obvious that many in the Church have through their own private revelations, that is their personal opinions, with a lack of knowledge of the Doctrine of Grace, makes the understanding of the Church's teaching on grace and the indwelling of the Holy Ghost erroneous. I hear and read so many inaccuracies, heretical really from priests in their homilies, ideas that are firmly based in Lutheran foolishness. I hear that once we are baptized we do not loose sanctifying grace. That is entirely against scriptures and you should consider why did our Providential God give us His Mysterious Sacrament of Confession, if sanctifying grace is in us forever? Tell me why I do not need to confess my sins to a sacramental, sacrificial priest and therefore I can stop going to that great Sacrament that humbles me and is so embarrassing, the Sacrament of Confession, of Penance and of Reconciliation.
Let me give you two very early examples from the History of God's community. Adam and Eve were conceived and born in a state of Grace that is our true inherent grace, They disobeyed God, who both rejected and removed them from Paradise, heaven on earth. Cain killed Abel, he was removed even further from the early community. H was sent out into the Desert. We lost, through Adam the right to live in the peace, security and the grace filled benevolence of God. I wish always that Adam and Eve who walked and talked with God asked Him, “What should we do? Help us please?” All through scriptures we can find quite easily how God will reject sinners, will punish them and will show His anger at the choices we make. He told us through the Prophet, “All souls are mine. The soul that sins dies”. That is the Justice of God. Through Christ He sent Mercy into the world, but still his Justice will conquer those who do not seek Mercy.
Touching on the Church's teachings of grace and its work in scriptural translations, our Mother the Church teaches the Holy Spirit, that inspired the Apostles, will inspire those who have the same Holy Spirit to help them understand, translate and comment upon them. Who therefore can claim a relationship with the Holy Spirit, or as He used to be, the Holy Ghost the Divine Eternal Spirit of God, who does not question himself or herself and seek to find their relationship with God the maker and lover of mankind. We cannot have Him us as God will not share His Temple with His enemy, if we are not in a state of grace. Justness does not satisfy the equation of God's love. Joseph must have been the most just of all men in the Old Testament. He was chosen by God to be the Husband of Mary, thus becoming the foster father of God's Son, Jesus Christ. He did not achieve the righteousness of God until Christ died and the forgiveness of sins was granted. Now it is that He will be with us if we are fortunate it will be for us, forever and ever or in the beautiful phrase of the Byzantine Rite, “Until ages of ages”, when we reach this state of righteous or sanctifying grace again.
I listened Last Sunday week to a compelling sermon about Divine Contemplation which from the sources, quoted but used erroneously, so off base it was horribly perhaps intrinsically evil. First of all it was entirely without the basic teachings of Divine Contemplation that is only arrived through laborious prayer. I have listened to priests who have told me prayer is easy and sweet. I find no consolation in criticizing them and yet this Father knows best attitude so many have is turning eyes away from the magnificent grand prize of redemption. Prayer is not easy. It is as Shakespeare described it a labor of love. Love is not easy in this awful world of hatred. Every moment for me has become a battle, sometimes over boredom, often times I can't be bothered, is very prevalent on my mind. So often I have to ask Heaven that I will complete all that He wants from me, those reasons for which I was created by His thoughts, His will, before I return to be judged and not I hope found wanting. In any case Divine Contemplation is an interior act. How can anyone truly Contemplate the Divine interiorly if it is not there. Rather than hotly deny me consider this, our material life demands we insure ourselves for any eventuality, why not therefore insure our eternal life by practising our religion and the sacraments He died for that we might both repeatedly and assiduously practise His work?
When He thought of me at the time He deemed appropriate and right, for me that is when my heart started to beat and pumped my life blood through my form knitted together in my mother's womb. This created thought of His, is my spiritual conception. This thought of the Lord of Creation is His idea of how I MUST be. We call it His Will. This thought He places somewhere in our bodies as our soul, probably our minds as it is a Blessed and Holy thought. It gives me a knowledge of God that follows me for all my life on earth. It is a grace that sustains me in all things keeping my body in health, in good thoughts and good deeds. It is the knowledge of God that all creation has individually and is different for us all in some degree. It is authorized by the Author of Life for us and our goodness. It is the foundation of that drive that compels us in this world to seek Him and we all have it. It is the necessity that drives us to look for God. It is the basis of all graces. Unfortunately we must also know that Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God cast a dark black shadow over this delightful and gracious memory until we restart or are renewed in that grace by a solemn baptism we are destined in this world to constantly search for Him unintelligently.   Adam and Eve in their way are our spiritual godparents before God. Therefore like our godparents around the time of our baptism they became the ones who stood up for our spiritual estate all those years ago and the maliciousness of their sin which became our inherited sin can only be erased by a solemn baptism by one who can trace his spiritual priesthood from Christ through the Apostles.
Once again take this to your Parish Priest and Local Bishop and seek His opinion. Ask them for a teaching on the Doctrine of Grace. If they do not satisfy your curiosity, you may remind them of their sacred duty towards your soul as one of their sheep. Then if not satisfied write to the Congregation for Defense of the Faith and the Sacraments. Personally I would certainly like you to be confident I am not trying to gain you an eternal life in some place that is full of hate, despair and self-loathing.
To you Bishops and Priests write me and tell me I am wrong over my version of ensoulment and if some one hands you a copy make sure they know what ensoulment is and what the Church teaches.
I would like to make this point whistle blowers in the material, secular world are often supported by the Hierarchy and liberals in the Catholic Church. I can make a point and say Catholic Whistle Blowers are counted as judgmental, retrogressive and sneered at as traditional heretics and certainly not orthodox in their beliefs and this from liberal obscurantist heterodox in their beliefs. Anyone disagree?
