Blog 435 Conscience sin and rationalism
I truly think after reading and discussing orthodox not heterodox Catholic Teachings, I mean what we are to believe and what we can believe, tells me the beliefs and opinions of the majority of those who call themselves Catholic, hold a pitiful lack of knowledge. There is an absolute refusal by many to even allow themselves to consider any truth in what the Church and the Penny Catechism taught me. So many, and that includes Priests, have concluded and stated that I am one foolish man. Perhaps for the sake of honesty I should change the name of my blog, to please them, with a title that acknowledges the excesses of my foolishness, according to the view of so many. If I am confident in what comes too pass for others is a direct result of when I am asked, "What does my Michael want?" and it happens. Would it not be  alack of faith in God for me to deny this evidence? If I say Blessed Mary and or Her Son Jesus Christ talks to me in my soul and a priest tells me I am a conceited fool, I always ask, “Can you be sure they do not?” When a priest screaming me in the parking lot shouts for anyone to hear, “you are always hassling priests, why would I have then asked, “Do you really want me to hassle you Father?” I do not like doing this but something answers that is not me for the delivery of the question is not mine and it always sucks, as a relative claims.
I can remember as a little kid as learning the catechism then announcing to adults around me that “nothing good will come of that if you do that”. I was called a pessimist. The results or answers, I receive are downright disgusting when I speak to the majority of Catholics. A question I often ask is, “Do you ever examine your conscience?” Surely we can expect anyone who has entered the Church and received the right formation as recommended by the local ordinary, that is the Bishop of the Diocese, teaching the examination of conscience should be right up there among the things we have to know. Of course the huge majority of the teachers of the Catechism are woefully in ignorance of sin, grace and the virtues of religion and piety, that is expected of those who teach the faith. Simply put they no nothing. If we do not know how to listen to our souls, if they are in grace, what then do we examine? Surely we cannot examine anything especially our life if we do not have a clue about what contaminates our state of grace? Another dastardly crime I commit against the superbly educated egos now in the Church, is my unspoken suggestion these people are not so good they do not sin.One extended argument was God informs our conscience, not right but almost. It is like the saying altered so foolishly by members of the Church. Newly formed they blandly state, "The brotherhood of Man." Again this is erroneous, it is, "The Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God". The former is communist, the second is Christlike. What we get from God due to our conception. His thought of our soul in the Beatific Vision is a memory of God's contemplation of Himself almost totally obliterated by our inheritance of Adam; and Eves' original sin. Our conscience is to be formed by ourselves. It is a very grave sin indeed not to. It is a sin against the Holy Ghost, God's supernatural love and sanctifying grace, not to want to know Him as He has shown Himself to us. Another reason to use the confessional. Not to use the sacrament is another very serious sin as we dismiss Jesus' personal sacrifice and must more foolishly we pass off  God's sacrifice of His Son for our life of eternal grace as no great sacrifice.
Here is one occasion an example is a woman who said I cannot tell her to go to confession as I am not a priest. I am a good woman, very catholic. I asked are you a grandmother? Do your children have children? How long have they been married? Have you warned them about the perils of Birth Control since you say you have only one and your children have been married 5 years between them? She walked away and I was condemned by many in that Parish. Another woman who had an icon of Our Lady of Guadeloupe on her office wall, told me she had not been to confession for thirty years or more, still received communion. I cannot write Holy before her communion. She sinned against the Church’s commandment. Go to confession at least once a year and that at Easter or thereabouts or immediately if you have committed a mortal sin. Her ignorance was she had never been taught it and others whom I asked did not know either. Pity the man who was to make sure those in his diocese were not warned of their sin in this case. To him I would say you do not know what sin is. Think over what God's justice will demand of you or will you commit the Bishop's sin handed down to his sheep, the sin of rationalism. Making some excuse for an eternal trip to hell at some later date and of course at God's convenience.
