  Hilliare Belloc
I quote Hilliare Belloc with all the sentiments and meanings he had.

The Catholic Church is an institution I am bound to hold divine, but for unbelievers, here is proof of its divinity, that no merely human institution run with such knavish imbecility would have lasted a fortnight,”

What is the Church? For me it is the home I have found in any country I have visited. A wonderful place when set upon by loneliness I found rest. A few prayers, a few thoughts and I could start out renewed. A place, when my wondering of what my course was to take was, made clear. My Church was always my proud boast. My Church my home and what are they doing to her now, those bewildered priests confused by their egos in such a hurry to place their mark on her and govern her by some confused personal opinions they know what God wants of us. Never mind all those previous arrangements He made for us in previous times. By their actions and performances they place contemporary times and language to ancient customs changing the usages He has left us. I mean the altar, the sanctuary and communing in false evangelization called ecumenism and the syntax and altering words in the bible to suit heretics. These habits, these ways and these desires of His dictated to various listeners such as Adam directly, Moses from the depth of a burning bush and various messengers through the ages down to the latter days are being changed by humdrum confused minds that cannot accept that God does not talk to them directly. “Why peasant children?” does one ask. “Why do all these faithful rush to Medjugorie passing a church where Christ waits for them?” asks an Irish Bishop. You are being answered by the true faithful who can because of their absolute trust in their faith and interior life cannot find it in them to trust you. Christ and His promised Paraclete never lets down the faithful. Did He not promise this? So many of you cannot understand the meaning in Christ’s words, “What is done in the dark will come into the light”. He meant, “I am the Light. I will expose you”. And by golly He is sure starting to.
Our interior life is exposed by exterior actions if we as a group are sinful they our actions will surely be sinful, even though we will do them with a tremendous pious mien. One can only watch and say to so many in the Church, “Get out of the pious coma you are adopting. Worship Him with bodily worship but first get your house in order”. No matter what you or I think of ourselves, our interior life shows. Believe you me it shows actively. It shows often, so often and unexpectedly, yet because of a lack of knowledge of what we should be we never notice and are happy because the spirit informs us of our correctness, and our true conscience is stifled. Do not the Bishops admit the children are poorly catechised. What spirit is it I wonder and so should you? The same bishops that say this never seem to actively change anything. Nor do they correct most vociferously and publicly the errors of other Bishops. Some convolute misunderstanding of unity. They would rather scandalize God than their fallen brothers.
Bodily worship we note in our Church by showing our true beliefs exteriorly are in Church so informative. Unfortunately so many of the faithful are lazy and do not study the Church even on Sundays. Some cannot behave since trusting in our Pastors they behave accordingly. This is still sinful. We stand before God as our sacrifice is offered with absolutely no humility whatsoever. Get it straight, standing is respectful but not the true reverence, adoration and humility that the Man who was God and sacrificed Himself demands of an honest person. Of course you show it differently He is nothing special so we will treat Him as we would treat our friends in our everyday conversations. I am surprised we do not sit on the table.
Do you know you are showing your interior life and what you claim to see as God when we receive Holy Communion today? Do you truly believe in the Sovereignty of God, His Sublime Loving Authority and dreadful passionate death He suffered for us. Do you show respect but not adoration and a sublime faith when we take him in our hands. Assure me or your minds all you like but your postures before God do not convince me you do or have any interest to do so. Do you really believe in the Sacrament of Confession? Do you know and believe in what a sin is or even think that you sin? Do you truly believe He suffered and died upon the Cross for us? Do you truly believe it was a huge sacrifice for Him to do this great act of charity? Assure me and above all Him you do so. He will be as convinced as I am, I’m sure. The next time you stand before the altar taking Him in your hands, tell Him, “O my God I truly confess You are the Living God who came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the first” and see if you believe your words yourself.
When I talk about Exterior examples of our interior life or beliefs consider this In the History of the Church not one Pope until now ever left the vatican unless under duress. Popes were literally dragged out from the papal Apartments by armies, driven out of Rome by pagans emperors and dictators. We now have a Pope who has literally abandoned all exterior signs of the Papal Office and lives outside His House.
Does he not believe he was elected specifically by the Holy Spirit perhaps? Was he or is he the object of the Third Secret of Fatima as climbing over dead bodies to get to the top? Then the armies that supported him in his conquest, annoyed when he got there and did not share his power shot him. Remember St JP2 and Benedict quietly told and warned us of ambitious priests and prelates. They must have read the secret as I did. Due to the atmosphere in the Church today with the de-profound collegiality of the Bishops. they could not come right out and condemn this practice. Their brothers in the college would have howled from the very rooftops of Rome as the laity would have believed the Popes. A question I ask is this, Has he deserted the Papal Office as we know it?
For those who question this take it to your parish priest and ask for clarity. If he lets you off the hook with platitudes, touch your forelock and say, “I will pray for you Father”, because again he has accommodated your weak piety. You know take it easy, do not worry, God knows you are a sinner. Let's hope He does not see it that way when at your judgement He has to make a decision for all your eternity.
