is something intrinsically wrong with the Catholic Church since the
end of Vatican 2. In writing this I draw down upon myself the wrath
of liberals and the middle of the roaders. Nevertheless there is and
it is undeniable it all started with Vatican 2 regardless from which
pew you study her. The liberal wing remind me of those in my social
world who are bi-polar. Any of my friends whom I try so hard to help in their despair
know full well they have a problem but seem to be too washed out at
times to cope. The liberals know as well their behaviour is off the same wall too. Read most Catholic Blogs on the
'net what I write is obvious but liberals with with a bipolar religious conscience they react
loudly and frighteningly when called to be reasonable and never act with a charitable
responsibly towards us, their neighbours in Christ. I apologize profusely for my
words yet...yet I feel something must be done to help us all cope in
our religious lives and keep the Church of a House of Charity and Prayer. It is horrifyingly aggravating (how I like that
phrase) to deal with anyone who goes off like a giant firecracker
demanding that we agree with them and to change our beliefs and
attitudes, that are old ways and taught to us by our parents. They act like the reformers of old without the equipment and the law to hang, draw and quarter us. I see that this legality is not far from appearing amongst us. I find when some of my bipolar friends do not take their
prescriptions I do not have the ability to help or cope with them.
How much this hurts and disappoints me that I a grown man cannot and am not allowed to help them. The medicine so many of the liberals in the
Church need is regular and very frequent use of the Sacrament of
Confession. How can we get them to take this medicine The Church has seen the gradual fall deeper and deeper
into acts of sheer spitefulness as a remedy for so much that is not
wrong. The treatment of priests and laity that long for the EF Latin
Mass is not in any way charitable and causes me great grief that I see such great hatred for our brothers and sisters, especially from the priesthood.
are two Liturgies that are used by the majority of Latin Catholics.
The Novus Ordo and the EF liturgy. Not one person have I read ever
made a proper comparison of their values in the Church and formulated
any discerning and proper comparison between them for what they are
and how the Church over its lifetime describes the reason for their
use. Every thing we do should be a prayer for Scriptures demand this of
us, to pray continuously James 5:16 "pray one for another, that you
may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much".
Then there is, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 : "Pray without ceasing"
Church claims to be a House of Prayer and it asks we offer or should every
morning an offering that makes each effort we make, each action we
take, as a prayer. We say, “I hope”, O Jesus, through the
Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and
sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in
reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and
friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father.
Does this not admit both Masses are prayers and all we do daily must be a prayer. Any Catholic Should know what are
the stages through which we rise through prayer or make a fairly accurate
statement of what the steps up the ladder of Divine Ascent are, which start at tepid and rising up to heaven
through various stages to the twofold prayer of quiet/silence.
I will challenge you all to tell me I
am wrong about the use of
the dreadful sign of peace
whereby the laity dismisses the Church's
explicit instruction and
turn around to those behind and shakes hands noisily and
frightened disinterested bishops and priests allow this insult to the
Body that lays there on the altar of sacrifice. Where do you see the prayer of quiet there? In the Lation Mass we are in no doubt we are in quietitude which is the level we should rise to.
is IT present on the altar of sacrifice at that time? The King of Heaven and Earth of course. I doubt from the bedlam that breaks out
and the dreadful and outrageous treatment of the Host by the unruly
crowd present, if many really and truly know who IT is. An action, by
the way, for which Michael the Archangel gave us a prayer at Fatima
to apologize for those irreverent actions so commonplace in the
Church today. They who are in front of us at Mass or we turn our back on God to be sociable to what
I might observe to be sinners. I cannot in honesty bring myself to
say, “Forgive them for they know not what they do, because most
just to not care". Can I ask, is this because the priests do not care, just let it happen for peace and quiet of the wrong sort?
Have we, the laity, learned from the priesthood this outrageous blasphemy? Go
ahead castigate me all you want but I will never turn my back on
Jesus. I do not know or have I heard of one time He did that to me, to anyone really. I shall
never have to stand before Him and admit to that blasphemy or
sacrilege. Ezechiel 36:26 is I hope, about to be very appropriate,
“ And I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within
you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and will
give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit in the midst
of you: and I will cause you to walk in my commandments, and to keep
my judgements, and do them”.
you wish to prove me to be in a terrible error take this to your
parish priest or local bishop ask him or them to stop me since they know
I cannot possibly be right, because they are good priestly men. They
teach you Humana Vitae, they teach you of sin and of Grace. They hear
your confessions regularly and defend the Church's teachings in
Public. If you do not ask then you know your problem too. Frightened, I think and
I might be right.
is the answer, it is simple the Pope in his position as guardian of
the Keys and Magisterium must stand up and be counted. He must
reiterate and reiterate what the Church has taught and will teach.
Unless he does the Church will wither on the branches and the end of
the age of the Holy Spirit will come and we will get “what-for”
from an angry God. Just imagine us living a life without a church
in this world that we, not God, destroyed.
my Lord I believe and I profess You are the Son of the Living God who
came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the first. Accept
me this day O Son of God, as a partaker in Your Mystical Supper for I
will not betray You to Your enemies with a kiss or a sign as did
Judas. Like the thief I confess, remember me O Lord when You come
into Your Kingdom, remember me O Master when You come into Your
Kingdom, remember me a Holy One when You come into Your Kingdom. Let
not my partaking this day in Your Mystical Supper be unto me a time
of judgement and condemnation but rather a time of Righteousness, of
sanctification, of peace of mind and of a joyful heart. O God forgive
me for I am a sinner, I have so many times, times without number have
I sinned. O little Lamb of God who chose such a pain filled Passion
and dreadful death upon the Cross so people like me could be
forgiven, forgive me. O Lord have mercy on me.
