Aphorisms that might help July 16th. 2015
time I will make use of some aphorisms statements you may, if you
wish, use them to question yourselves. Use the Gift of Introspection
which all Catholics receive but not being taught this as a fact,
never train themselves to use this marvelous gift. Rarely do we use
the complete gift. I know Martha as you shout at me you search your
conscience, but that is a very incomplete act. What about your
interior life, what about the gracious inspirations you and I all of
us receive? Do you examine them closely. Do you look closely at your
interior life and contemplate how to improve it? Or are you merely
concerned only on staying tepid and count that as the only necessary
key to the pearly gates? Are you as scriptures describe, wanting or
needing “only' to be God's vomit?
do many of you know about the Church's teachings and the life of her
saints? Do you spend any time Sundays reading Catherine of Sienna,
Teresa of Avila, Francis Xavier, Ignatius Loyola even God forbid I
ask you Jubilate Deo or Humana Vitae? I did not think so. Do you
know, even able to guess by how we ascend or
descend the steps in the Ladder in our interior lives? Nope same thing I do not think so.
